TIKIS

I find an incredible amount of inspiration in artwork from the indigineous cultures around the Pacific Ocean. Totems from the Pacific Northwest, Tikis from the Hawaiian Islands and patterns from Ta Moko, traditional Maori tattooing of New Zealand. Patterns and wood carving just seem to flow beautifully together. However, I also like to go beyond those elements, adding metal, leather, and stones to create tikis in my own personal style.
